Installing Molding On Kitchen Cabinets

Hold up the first cut on one end of the cabinet.
Installing molding on kitchen cabinets. Position the saw to the opposite 45 degree angle cut and make the second cut. For the front filler piece drill from underneath the inside of the cabinet and then secure that piece with wood screws. From the sides of the cabinet nail the filler pieces in the place.
Miter that end of this strip and then attach it to the backing wood with the nail gun. Set up your miter saw at a 45 degree angle. Hold up the crown molding on the sides of the cabinet.
Have a partner mark off where the other 45 degree cut should go for the next corner. Mark all sides of the cabinet onto which you will be attaching crown moulding. Measure and mark the front section of crown molding to the cabinet width.
Draw an arrow on the inside to help determine which angle the miter cut should go. Prepare and install framing along the top of the cabinets. In this video we will go over some tips and tricks that might help whe.
Cut one side of the molding with this setting. Place the crown molding so that it is rests upside down and at a 45 degree angle against the saw fence. However for a sturdier approach you should install framing along the cabinet tops.
